I receive error message ’cannot connect to server’ after closing Video Suite

Please note that the article below concerns Movavi Video Suite 14 and lower versions of this program.

Please check the settings of your antivirus/firewall software - most likely it's blocking the access of advertisement pop-up to our website which causes the error to appear instead of the advertisement.

The alternative solution is to disable advertisement completely, but it requires minor Windows Registry tweaking.

Open Start menu and type 'regedit' (without quotes) into the search form, press Enter to launch Registry Editor (in Windows XP you need to open Start -> Run menu, then type 'regedit' and press OK button). Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MOVAVI\Suite14 folder and find dontShowNag_app_close_activated parameter at the right side of Registry Editor. Double-click on this parameter and change it's value to 'true' (without quotes).

If the parameter does not exist, you can create it - right-click on empty space at the right side of Registry Editor and select Create -> String parameter. Name it 'dontShowNag_app_close_activated' and change value to 'true'.

This solution also works for any other Movavi program - the only difference is a path to dontShowNag_app_close_activated parameter. For example, in case of Movavi Video Converter 15, the path is going to be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MOVAVI\VideoConverter15.
